• • NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 2 years & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake.
• • Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as ID Proof to visit Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport.
• • Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels provide only Mattress not Extra bed.
• • At times due to events which are beyond control (e.g. local strikes, natural calamities), schedules and itineraries may be subject to last minute changes.

• • For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.

Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft, ~43 km from Gangtok) and New Baba Mandir (13,100 ft, ~16 km further), a shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh. Full-day excursion, about 7 hours.

For the Tsomgo Lake / Baba Mandir excursion (Day 2), everyone needs 2 passport-size photos and a photocopy of a valid photo ID — Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID only (PAN Card and Aadhar Card are NOT accepted). Foreign nationals, NRIs, OCI, and PIO cardholders can go as far as Tsomgo Lake with a valid permit and a group of 2 or more, but Baba Mandir itself is off-limits to this category.

No. The Research Institute of Tibetology and Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom are closed Saturdays, Sundays, and local/national holidays. If your visit lands on a closed day, Lasa Falls is offered instead.
