Hidden Paradise
Tour Overview
Starting at ₹32,814 per person, this 9-night, 10-day itinerary is built around the contrast between North Sikkim's remote valleys and the more familiar hill stations of Gangtok, Pelling, and Darjeeling. After arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, the first two nights are spent in Gangtok at Sumitel Shangrila (Deluxe Room Double, bed and breakfast basis), with a day set aside for the Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir excursion. From there, the route heads north into higher altitude territory — a night each in Lachen at Rufina Lachen Deezong and in Lachung at Rufina Lachung Kunga, both offering free time to explore at leisure, before the drive back through Yumthang Valley returns travelers to Gangtok for one more night at the same Sumitel Shangrila property. The second half of the trip shifts west and south: two nights in Pelling at Sumitel Pelling (Deluxe Double Room), where a full day is kept open for independent exploration, followed by two nights in Darjeeling at SUMI VISTA TV TOWER DARJEELING (Deluxe Double Room). Darjeeling's highlight is a pre-dawn 4:30 AM departure for the Tiger Hill sunrise, rounded out with stops at Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Tenzing-Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, the Japanese Temple, the Peace Pagoda, the zoo, and a tea estate, plus time in the evening to walk Mall Road. The trip wraps up with a transfer from Darjeeling back to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Throughout the journey, a private small car handles all transfers and sightseeing, and breakfast is included at every hotel; lunch and dinner are not part of the package on any day. Unlike other Sikkim itineraries that focus purely on Gangtok, Pelling, and Darjeeling, this package is built for those who want to add the high-altitude Lachen–Lachung–Yumthang loop to their trip, all arranged with fixed hotel stays and point-to-point private transport.
