Tour Overview
Elite Pearl Getaway is a 5-night, 6-day journey through Kandy, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Bentota and Colombo, combining heritage, hill-country scenery, beaches and city sightseeing in one compact route. It suits travellers who want to cover several of Sri Lanka’s most popular regions without stretching the trip too long.
The journey begins with a transfer from Colombo to Kandy, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage along the way. With two nights in Kandy, you’ll also take a full-day excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Dambulla Cave Temple. Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s best-known UNESCO World Heritage Sites, while Dambulla is famous for its ancient cave shrines, Buddhist paintings and large collection of statues.
From Kandy, the route moves into the cooler hills of Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, stop at a tea factory to see how Ceylon tea is processed, and take in the views at Ramboda Falls. The change from cultural landmarks to tea-covered hills gives this part of the trip a completely different feel.
The journey then continues south to Bentota, with a stop at the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can learn about sea turtle conservation. After a night by the coast, travel onward to Colombo for a city tour covering Independence Square, Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, the World Trade Centre Towers and the Old Parliament Building.

It is about 90km from Colombo and after you have fun playing with the elephants, we’ll head to Kandy to the hotel. We’ll check-in and let you rest for the night in Kandy.

- • We can only facilitate the visa application for the travelling passengers. Granting of visa is solely at the discretion of Embassy. If visa is rejected or delayed by the Embassy for any reason then we are not liable to give any refund and respective cancellation policies will apply.
Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Seat selection and room allocation (including room number, floor, view, and proximity of rooms) are determined by the airline/hotel and cannot be guaranteed.In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
