Coral Coast Bliss Tour
Tour Overview
Coral Coast Bliss Tour is a six-night trip covering Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Bentota, weighted heavily toward Sri Lanka's cultural triangle and hill country, with one night on the coast before departure.
Arrival in Colombo may include a same-day excursion to Kandy Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and Peradeniya Botanical Gardens if the flight lands by 9 AM; otherwise, the trip transfers to Kandy the next day, covering the same landmarks along with the Kandy Gem Museum. Two nights in Kandy include a full-day excursion to Sigiriya and Dambulla, taking in Sigiriya Rock, the UNESCO-listed lion-shaped fortress, and Dambulla Cave Temple, home to Sri Lanka's largest collection of Buddha statues.
From Kandy, the trip moves into the hill country for two nights in Nuwara Eliya. The first day covers the Nuwara Eliya Golf Course, Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, Sita Eliya, and Pedro Tea Estate, where 19th-century Ceylon tea processing techniques are still in use. The second day covers Sita Amman Temple and the Bahirawakanda Buddha statue.
The trip then descends to the coast for one night in Bentota, with a stop at Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a sea turtle conservation project running since 1981. The final day combines the Bentota-to-Colombo drive with an extended city tour Colombo Fort, Pettah's goldsmith quarter, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Dewatagaha Mosque, and the BMICH — plus shopping time before the airport transfer.
Accommodation spans four stays Colombo (1 night), Kandy (2 nights), Nuwara Eliya (2 nights), Bentota (1 night) — with breakfast included at Kandy and Nuwara Eliya; Colombo and Bentota hotels are room-only. Dates are 15–21 January 2026, six nights and seven days, for one room and two adults.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's demanding — the itinerary requires arrival by 9 AM for this day to work at all, and even then it's roughly 3.5 hours each way to Kandy plus a full day of sightseeing, all on your first day in the country. Given Day 2 covers Kandy again anyway, ask whether skipping the Day 1 excursion and using that day to simply rest in Colombo is an option.
Yes, as a full-day excursion on Day 3 from Kandy, after you've checked into your Kandy hotel. Entry tickets for both sites are paid directly and not included in the price.
This is listed with conflicting notes — Day 4 says it's covered on Day 5, and Day 5 says it's covered on Day 4, but neither day's actual narrative describes visiting it (Day 4 covers the golf course, Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, Sita Eliya, and Pedro Tea Estate; Day 5 covers Sita Amman Temple and Bahirawakanda). Confirm directly with your advisor whether this stop is genuinely included.
Breakfast is included at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy, The Firs (Nuwara Eliya), and via the itinerary while in transit — but not at Ramada Colombo or Citrus Waskaduwa, both of which are room-only bookings on this itinerary. Lunch and dinner aren't included on any day.
Yes, it has direct access to Waskaduwa Beach, though note this particular room type is room-only with no breakfast included.
Check the latest requirement on the official Sri Lanka visa site before booking, as rules can change. Apply well ahead of your 15 Jan travel date — approval is at the discretion of the Sri Lankan authorities, and there's no refund if it's delayed or rejected.
